As I write to you today I think that all will agree that the world is enduring a preponderance of crisis ranging from the war against terrorism, the war in Iraq and Africa being decimated by AIDS. Truly these are challenging times for all involved including the church of Jesus Christ. While the challenges are pervasive for us, they provide us great opportunities to shine in this darkened environment and offer hope to a world so desperately in need of it.
At Harvest Fire we are responding through a vigorous two pronged approach consistent with the mandate of Jesus to reach our world:
Firstly, we are attempting to reach our local community with not only the preached Word, but with social programs that offer hope and help to those who so desperately need it. That is why we spend so much time and resources on our outreach programs inclusive of education, home ownership, homelessness, hunger, etc.
Secondly, we are attempting to reach those nations under the influences of religions that offer no hope and the ones decimated by poverty and diseases with the preached Word. We are also deploying financial resources to targeted ministries in these countries where every dollar counts and will bring measurable results.
Please join the Harvest Fire Team if you want to help us “reach our world, one person at a time”
